The Paolo Mejia Fine Art and Design invites everyone to attend “Istruktura 2″ by Jose Johann Bitancor, a solo show exhibiting new and old mixed media paintings.

Jose Johann Bitancor have always been fascinated with the possibilities of transforming a given object or material from one state to another with the barest of means. This third solo show translates all of his past and current work in a culmination of intended and controlled spontaneity.

Bitancor’s third solo show continue to explore the technical aspects of composition, textures, material and processes. Come pass by our annex facility and see his art show.

"The Beautiful, Surreal and Ugly" group art show

The Paolo Mejia Fine Arts and Design cordially invites everyone to our March group art show entitled “The Beautiful, Surreal and Ugly”. This group art show currently is exhibiting paintings magnifying the beautiful aesthetics of the floral form and reinterpreted in their own perspective. Some work may reference Georgia O' Keefe's floral influenced concepts, while others reinterpret the universal iconoclasm of beauty. The magnification of beauty and it's iconoclastic duality, through the scopes of floral abstraction, will be explored. 

We invite everyone to our group art show this March that will usher in the Spring Equinox. Attend our reception on a First Friday art walk.

Laurie Vanina mini solo show

Come pass by our main gallery on Grant Avenue in North Beach, San Francisco and see Laurie Vanina’s mini art show currently being exhibited. Her constructive assemblage sculptures are detailed and filled with nostalgic mementos from the past. Capturing and containing “found objects” are one of the referenced point of view of her work. So, come pass by from now until March 1 to see her work.

CALL for ART: “Inked” – a group art show

The Paolo Mejia Fine Arts and Design are looking for artwork for our March group art show entitled “Inked” that will be held at our annex facility on Telegraph Ave., Oakland. We are searching for conceptual ink work on mylar paper and/or on other mediums. We are attempting to explore the various usage of ink and how it is applied.

Show us what you have and take part in our group art show that will take place in Oakland’s First Friday and Art Murmur.

Guideline:

+Submit up to 10 images no bigger than 1M each
+Must be a conceptual ink work of any type on any substrates
+Be creative and innovative
