“Collection of Days” – paintings by Angela Baker

The Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio invites everyone to attend Angela Baker‘s solo show entitled “Collections of Days” that will be held at our annex facility in Oakland. Angela will be exhibiting her Key Mandala series where she takes an everyday object that may rarely be observed closely and transform it into something artistic. She repeats the pattern and color in a mandala-like shape which becomes more than what it was initially. These tantric visual poetry will tantalize your eyes and make you feel at ease.

Come pass by our Annex facility in Oakland this October and see her tantric visual poetry.

"Chop-sueyed: Against All Odds" group show celebrating the Filipino Culture

against all odds 1

The Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio proudly presents “Chop-sueyed: Against All Odds”, a group show by Epekto Art Projects celebrating the Filipino Culture in the month of October. This group show will exhibit the current socio-political status of what’s happening with Filipino descent living locally and abroad through art, and will challenge the artists to show how they see themselves and their cultural heritage fit in the society they live in.

Come join us as we celebrate the Filipino culture with a dynamic group of local artists this October.
