Frost Newton: July Established Artist Solo Show at the Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio








The Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio cordially invites everyone to attend Frost Newton‘s solo artist show this coming July. He will be showing an array of skillful work painted with gouache and mixed with other media. Come pass by the gallery and see his extraordinarily masterful work of art that will leave an unforgettable visual imprint in your mind.

The Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio and Caffe Union invites everyone to attend our July portrait group art show presented by the gallery’s featured artists. This art show will feature the Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio’s represented artists. They will be showing portraiture interpreted in their own style and medium. Carina Lomeli is a Xicana artist and activist who paints with various medium. Her artwork primarily focuses on the socio-political aspects of society and how she see them in her own perspective. In this particular painting, she romanticizes a spectacular quality of San Francisco. Evocative and serene, Carina’s painting shows beauty and pleasure of living in a city that is very socio-politically active, inwhich she incorporates in her paintings. Her approach is very painterly and subtle in capturing a particular atmosphere.

The Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio, donating to Child Watch International (Bantay Bata International) Charity Fund




The Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio is donating and contributing to our selected charity Child Watch (Bantay Bata International), and continuing it’s mission to support our selected charity. The donation is our attempt to encourage others to raise fund and donate to help improve the well-being of less fortunate children residing in the Philippines. The fund will also help fix up a dilapidated facility where those children are residing. The Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio hopes to accomplish to achieve our charity’s goal in making things right for the children that they support.

Everyone can participate to raise funds by purchasing art from our on-site art galleries or from the on-line website www.paolomejia.com. Percentage of any sales will directly go to fund the charity to complete the improvements of one of the children’s facility that is in dire need of fixing. "CUT and paste" - CALL FOR ART

The Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio is seeking artwork that relates to the theme “CUT and paste”. If you have any work that is collaged traditionally or digitally submit to participate for the show. We are looking for creative and original way of presenting artwork that relate to the topic of cutting and pasting.

For submission:
  • Send up to ten (10) clear images(JPEG, TIFF, PDF) for consideration to paolomejia@hotmail.com (Files NO bigger than 2M)
  • Attach a separate itemization list that corresponds to pictures/images (ie. title, dimension, medium)
  • A brief Bio/artist statement 
  • A link to portfolio/website

Erica Steiner at Caffe Union

The Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio is proud to endorse our collaboration with our satellite gallery located in the Marina District of San Francisco. Caffe Union and the Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio are working together to extend the mission of the gallery to help emerging and established artist find a venue to show their artwork to the local community. The two facility's first collaborative solo featured artist to show is Erica Steiner.

Erica Steiner is a locally based artist. She will be showing 12 wonderful ornamentally designed body of work. You can learn more about our featured artist on www.paolomejia.com.

The show will be up from June 5 until June 30.

Rich Sigberman at the Cartoon Art Museum

The Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio is proud to endorse one of our in-house featured artist, Rich Sigberman. Rich will be the “artist in residence” at the Cartoon Art Museum on Saturday, June 22nd, from noon-4pm. He will be doing a type of sequential art demo in ink and watercolor, and will also have small print reproductions for sale. Come by the museum and support Rich Sigberman in his one day workshop/demo.
