In this particular painting, she romanticizes a spectacular quality of San Francisco. Evocative and serene, Carina’s painting shows beauty and pleasure of living in a city that is very socio-politically active, inwhich she incorporates in her paintings. Her approach is very painterly and subtle in capturing a particular atmosphere.
