"Bridging the Gap" through art and poetry

Bridging the Gap” is the first collaboration between contemporary artists Paolo Mejia and actress/filmmaker/director Esperanza Catubig who are both passionate about supporting the Bantay Bata (Child Watch) program, promoting Filipino-American/descent artists, and encouraging dialogue among the different generations. Our special guest, Oscar Penaranda, an award winning dedicated scholar and author who will be reading excerpts from his books, “Seasons by the Bay” and “Full Deck“.

This event is a fundraiser and has limited seating sold at a sliding scale of $20-$30 through Brown Paper Tickets. Advance ticket reservations made before May 25th receive a limited edition gift bag. Go to:

Come pass by and participate at this event this June 7, Saturday, from 3-7pm. We will have a stimulating art show, educational presentation, live music and performances, silent art auction and children’s activity for a fun family night out. Support the children’s charity by purchasing an artwork.
